Harmony Trio
Gallimauphry and the Dog are a Southampton based Trio who perform a mix of traditional, contemporary and self penned songs drawn form all walks of life and sources. The songs are presented with passion and humour and the band comfortably slots in to the Accoustic and Folk genre.
Gallimauphry and the Dog are: Sue Harris, Rachel Livingstone, Rosie Marshall and Cocoa the Dog. Occasional guest Tom Goddard, shown in the title picture.
Sue plays a Tanglewood twelve string guitar which she accompanies with fabulous vocals and harmonies, Sue has written, amongst others, the much acclaimed Glastonbury Tor and the tongue in cheek Foolin .
Rachel plays a Vince Hockey custom built guitar, mainly tuned in DADGAD, which adds a deep contrast to Sues twelve string. Rachel is responsible for the popular songs Round the Wrekin, Phoenix, Bethany's Tune and Girl in the Shadow.
Rosie brings to the band: her amazing harmonies, abundant stage presence, eccentric humour and some wickedly funny songs. Stand by to be insulted, but we guarantee you wont mind!
What about the the Dog? I hear you ask.
Well, Cocoa likes to join us on stage, she just does not want to be left out of anything and dogs do have a sense of humour! this one does anyway! if you want to find out what she does you will have to book us.
